The team are running together in the most iconic half marathon in the world and raising money to brighten short lives.

Story

Me and Dad organised with a group of friends to run The Great North Run in memory of my brother/his son. In March 2023 Finlay unfortunately lost his life after complications from a surgery. Finlay had Duchene Muscular Dystrophy and developed scoliosis from that which is why he needed the surgery. We have a very close family friendship group who have always supported us and Finlay loved them! We all decided to do the Great North Run in memory Finlay and to raise money for Rainbows Hospice as they helped him so much! We want to keep his legacy going as long as possible and forever raise money for him and his charities! We have already raised just above £6000! Split between a few charities who supported Finlay. We will he organising various other charty events between now and the Great North Run, so everytime this is shared check to see what we are doing next.❤️

About the charity
