We fund initiatives in the Primrose centre to improve patient care & outcomes

Story

Our Rambling Roses group was created during the difficult times of COVID. Three years later, we're still going strong, yomping all over Dartmoor once or twice a month.

The odd social event - normally involving copious amounts of alcohol - could be the reason for this.

Whatever the reason, some of the group are taking on another challenge this year, our third one.

• Two years ago, the 70-mile Isle of Wight coastal path ...

• Last year, Pen y Fan and the Dragon's Back in the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons ...

• This year Yr Wyddfa AKA Snowdon ...

Angie, Bridget, Gina, Jodie, Kate, Nicol, Rach, Sharon and Tesa will be climbing Snowdon in September with our favourite mountain leader Damien who showed us the soggy joys of hiking the Brecon Beacons last year (and for some unknown reason, he jumped at the chance to lead us motley crew again).

To give us all a bit of focus and a purpose to our efforts, we wanted to collectively raise money for a worthy cause.

And with many of our 23-strong group of lady ramblers affected by breast cancer - either directly or indirectly - we thought The Primrose Foundation here in Plymouth would be the perfect one.

So if you can, please donate to this fabulous cause. Every single penny helps, and every single penny will give us an extra spring in our step ... we hope.

Diolch yn fawr iawn ♡

Quality of care, cutting edge equipment, staff training have been crucial. Now the emphasis is on updating equipment in the digital age. As always patient care is key.
