Story
With everything that's going on in the world all we are being asked to do is sit on our couch and watch TV, easy right? But, that's not all we can do, we can help and maybe bring some fun and competition doing it. So, I ask, like our autumnal cousin in November (that didn't inspire this in anyway at all) us bro's unite and grow some questionable facial fluff, unfurl that lip rug and grow your lady (or man) tickler to raise money for the National Emergencies Trust's coronavirus appeal.
The appeal ensures that "funds raised will only be channelled through the most trusted and reputable organisations, so you know you’re giving to those who need it the most". If you want to learn more about the work being done - take a look at their website at https://nationalemergenciestrust.org.uk/coronavirus/
"The world is in a state of emergency. The outbreak of coronavirus is affecting both businesses and people from across the globe. The Government is doing everything it can to alleviate some of this pressure. However, at times like this, its the strength and desire to help from the public that can make the most difference.
We will work collaboratively with a wide range of organisations to ensure the maximum amount of money is raised and distributed securely, effectively, and fairly to those organisations and local charities who can do the most to help those in need.
In time, we will report back on how the money raised was spent, and work collaboratively with others in the sector to share best practices and improve our nations emergency response over time.
With your support, and help from our partners, well get through the impact caused by coronavirus, together."
