Raising money for ADHD Foundation

ADHD Foundation is the largest 'user led' ADHD Agency in Europe and is credited with influencing policy and provision in the UK for those living with ADHD and co existing conditions. We aim to improve the life chances of those affected by ADHD and co occurring learning difficulties and needs.

Story

Supporting our mission to improve the lives of people with ADHD, Qbtech will be raising money for The ADHD Foundation by running the Chelmsford Half Marathon on 3rd March. 5 runners from Qbtech will be taking the challenge.

This cause is close to our hearts as our team have either had lived experience of ADHD or worked clinically as ADHD nurses within the NHS. We have all devoted our careers to improving ADHD care and equity of access to assessment and treatment.

When trying to decide on a charity, the ADHD Foundation Neurodiversity charity was an obvious choice to all of us. Within the UK the ADHD Foundation is a trusted source of support for those learning more about themselves in the context of an ADHD diagnosis and is a driving force of positive change within the neurodiverse community. We’re proud to raise funds for the ADHD Foundation, knowing the impact and importance of their work will spur us on over the 13 mile run.

We are busy training already. Some of us finding it easier than others. The dark cold winter days don’t make it easy, however as a the first team from Qbtech to ever enter a charity event we are determined to raise as much as we can for a cause that’s close to our heart.

Your donations big or small will be very much appreciated!
