Story
By donating to Daniel Owens you're actually donating to:
John, Lex, Dani, Hannah G, Blaise, Si, Chris, Sal, Janine, Dave, Frankie, Delicia, Hannah B, Bracey, Holly, Lorna, Natters, Pete, Tamsin, Laurie, Dan & Beccy.
The rules are simple:
1) Gather a group of people to film themselves doing push-ups every day.
2)The group leader links their justgiving page to the following team: https://www.justgiving.com/team/Pushupchallengedonationsforcoronavirus. Entry price for each member is a donation to charity for as much as people can afford.
2) Day 1: Number of push-ups starts at 10 and increases by 1 every day. Day 2 requires 11, day 3 requires 12 etc. Last person left able to do the required number wins! Doing them from your knees is also fine as it's for a good cause!
3) Film and share your videos (we found whatsapp the easiest way to do so) with your group every day as proof.
4) Important rule: As a group you should inspire at least 1 more group to be set up so that the word is spread and we have a chance of reaching our target!
5) Creativity and humour are massively encouraged!
About The NET: National Emergencies Trust (https://nationalemergenciestrust.org.uk/coronavirus/)
The National Emergencies Trust’s main aim is to raise funds fairly and efficiently at a time of a large scale domestic disaster.
The NET work with a wide range of organisations and charities to ensure the maximum amount of money is raised and distributed securely, effectively, and fairly to those organisations and local charities who can do most to help those in need. They have built a partnership network to provide you with the reassurance that the funds raised will only be channelled through the most trusted and reputable organisations, so you know you’re giving to those who need it the most...something that's hugely important with the current risk to our loved ones due to corona virus.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
