We Help the over 60s to afford a rescue pet to tackle loneliness and isolation

Story

At Barking Mad Productions, we are a group of seven university Events Management students who have a mission to help raise money for the charity ‘ Give a Dog a Bone’.

What we are doing to help?

We are planning an Event called Pups in the Pub, this will be held at a pub in Glasgow on the 14th of March 2022. During the event there will be a chance for dogs and their owners to go for a group dog walk and get to know each other, before returning to the pub for pup quiz, the chance to get a professional picture taken of your dog, enter into our raffle with amazing prizes and get lots puppy cuddles. All of our profits will go directly to ‘Give a dog a bone’.

What the charity do to help?

‘ Give a dog a bone’ is a charity that offers help to people over 60’s to allow them to rescue a pet companion by removing financial barriers. This helps elderly people be less lonely and gives the animals a second chance at a loving home!

About the charity

We support the over 60s to afford a rescue pet companion. If money is a genuine barrier, we can pay the rehoming fee for a RESCUE animal and continue to support, each month, with the cost of pet food. 'Helping individuals through loneliness and animals through homelessness'.
