Normally at this time of year, lots of Islanders are gearing up for Walk the Wight to raise money for our local Mountbatten hospice. Whilst the walk is no longer happening due to the coronavirus outbreak, the hospice are encouraging us to complete a virtual Walk the Wight Your Way instead ...and this year it can be done in what ever way you like that complies with government social distancing guidelines. At Priory, we are walking, running, cycling, skipping, climbing stairs, bouncing and even crafting to do something positive for our local community in our time of isolation. Mountbatten needs our support more than ever due to significant income lost through cancelled fundraising events and charity shops closed. They are desperate too for more equipment to protect staff when helping patients suffering from coronavirus.
