2020 was a devastating year for children all over the world. The coronavirus pandemic affected the lives of everyone, but it is children who will face a future of uncertainty. Walk the World for Save the Children and change their future for good.
Story
Finally after 282 days and 2,786 miles, on 17 February Arlette & I reached our virtual destination of Al Hol in Syria.
To date (17/2/22) our efforts have raised £1,020 for Save the Children’s projects which had suffered through restrictions imposed during the covid epidemic and the UK Government’s ongoing draconian cuts to UK overseas aid. ( The estimated government cuts for 2021 alone were £4bn)
We are very grateful to everyone who has supported us in any way by helping us to raise this magnificent amount
Should you wish to join in with a monetary celebration of our success mine & Arlette's pages will be open to receive donations for several more weeks Thank you again for all your support.

Save the Children exists to help every child reach their full potential. In the UK and around the world, we make sure children stay safe, healthy and keep learning, so they can become who they want to be.
