Story
Please support us! Together, every pound we raise will power us along our 55-mile London to Brighton Cycle Ride in support of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
On September 15, 2024, Ruth, Nix, Clare, Lindsey, Caroline & I will be hitting the road aiming to raise £1,000+ for the Royal Marsden's cancer research centre and help towards cutting edge equipment for their hospitals.
My Story:- This means a lot to me personally since I was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Cancer in 2023 – I am a NHS patient. The Chelsea & Westminster Hospital alongside The Royal Marsden worked extremely quickly together to locate and surgically remove my tumour. After months of chemotherapy and radiation therapy, I am now thankfully in remission! I am very grateful to still receive aftercare treatment from the Royal Marsden.
Cancer has no age, sometimes no reason. A silent war. It makes you feel powerless. I am extremely grateful to all those who helped me through a very challenging time. It has been a long-term goal for me to get my strength back and fundraise for this incredible cause and I am determined to raise money to help others affected by cancer. Every pound raised will make a difference in improving the lives of those affected by cancer.
Together, we can pedal towards a brighter future for all. Your support means everything!
I am extremely grateful to everyone in our cycling team who has taken on this challenge and committed to this event, this cause.
