Gary Hutchings is a passionate adventurer, has rowed solo across the Atlantic Ocean from Lanzarote to Antigua. What began as a search for a new challenge has turned into a monumental mission to raise funds for charity. With two years of intensive training, Gary completed 3,000-mile journey in an R25 ocean rowing boat named Polly Anne on the 26th March 2025. 100% Self-funded and self-supported, Gary was committed to completing this challenge in 60 days, he did it in 53, while raising money for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and Devon Air Ambulance as well as the British Airborne Forces Charity.
