Gary Hutchings is a passionate adventurer, preparing to row solo across the Atlantic Ocean in January 2025 from Lanzarote to Antigua. What began as a search for a new challenge has turned into a monumental mission to raise funds for charity. With two years of intensive training, Gary will embark on the 3,000-mile journey in an R25 ocean rowing boat named Polly Anne, one of only 30 built by Rannoch. Self-funded and self-supported, Gary is committed to completing this challenge in 60 days, while raising money for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and Devon Air Ambulance as well as the British Airborne Forces Charity.
