Play Therapy Base is a children's mental health charity with an aim to provide children aged 3 to 14 years with a child-centred therapeutic resource close to their local communities in Midlothian, East Lothian and Edinburgh.

Our team is made up of staff, families and friends who are all keen to support the service through walking The Edinburgh Kiltwalk in September 2024.

Play Therapy Base supports children aged 3-14 years and their families living in the Lothians. Play Therapy is a special way for children to learn about their world through using toys. Some children choose to explore things they find hard, or that are worrying them, through play.
