We are a team of 5 firefighters from Southsea fire station and on June 30th will be embarking on a huge challenge in aid of two charities that are very close to our hearts - The Firefighters Charity and Tonic Music for mental health.

Many of you reading this will be familiar with the 3 peaks challenge and may even have completed this yourself. Not only will we be tackling the 10,052ft climb across Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowden we’ll be cycling the 452 miles in between and all in three and a half days.

Some might say we are mad but we are motivated by the work that both of these fantastic charities do and are determined to complete our ‘Pilgrimage of Pain’ to show our support.

The training has been tough at times, and we know that it’s going to be challenging both physically and mentally, so anything you can spare to help towards our target will be hugely appreciated.

All associated costs will be covered by the team so every penny raised will count.
