On Thursday 7th March 2024, the Phoenix Team are giving up our beds for the night to support local people experiencing homelessness. Sleeping out on the concrete in King Power Stadium won't replicate what it really feels like to sleep rough, but we'll be raising awareness and vital funds to make a real difference locally. All funds support YMCA Leicestershire, home to 108 young people who have experienced trauma, abuse, bereavement, poor mental health or family breakdown. Young people are supported to build resilience and develop skills to move on independently.

YMCA also help street homeless adults providing breakfast, food parcels and one to one advice to address issues of homelessness and find a place to live.
