Story
Hi!
We are donating £1000 to Addenbrookes Hospital in honour of Phoebe's 1000th act of courage since her AFM diagnosis. We hope to repay the NHS £1 for every day she has received medical treatment and physiotherapy represented by the Beads of Courage program. This includes approx 300 days away from home, in hospital or rehabilitation; 3 surgeries and countless prods and pokes during her ongoing recovery.
As a family we have also set ourselves 4 physical challenges in the hope we can raise another £1000 and show some solidarity with Phoebe for going through so much every day.
You can choose to donate to Addenbrookes Charitable Trust or our other chosen charity East Anglia's Children's Hospices who have helped us immeasurably to cope with the adjustment of living with a disability. Charities are suffering now more than ever to raise funds to support families like us so whatever we can raise will go to a good cause.

Phoebe's Challenge: 1000 minutes off the ventilator! (Phoebe can now tolerate 1 minute at a time breathing all by herself)
Alice's Challenge: 1000 Cartwheels! (I think she's going to smash it)
Will's Challenge: 1000 Sit ups! (not all in one day)
Hannah's Challenge: Run 1000km! (again not all in one day) :-)
