Story

On 6th July 2024, my brother's fiancee and I will trek 26 miles through the Cotswold hills in memory of my dear late father, Philip Boreham who died on 13th April.

Dad was the consummate gentleman to everyone he encountered and a completely selfless human being, even as Alzheimer's disease cruelly eroded his dignity and degraded his ability to truly live life. The walk will have added poignancy because by complete chance, the route takes in many places that formed a part in my parent's courtship over sixty years ago.

I have chosen to support Alzheimer’s Society because of its tirelessly working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives; giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.

If you are able to donate, please be kind enough to do so as generously as you are able in Dad's name. Dementia has no place in a modern world where we have answers to so many other diseases and illnesses. Sadly, Dad was far from alone.

With very many thanks,

Steve
