PLEASE SPLIT YOUR DONATIONS BETWEEN THE TWO CHARITIES.

To mark the 40th anniversary of the Peter Cooper Motor Group, our Foundation is looking to raise £40,000.00. We have run many charity initiatives throughout the year and have a few more left to do before year end to hit our target.

To kick off our fundraising I and some of my team members took part in a ½ million steps in 30 days challenge. We also did a large golf event at Goodwood in June and raised £17,000.00 alone.

Our 40th anniversary celebration will help us continue our efforts towards the close of the year and we look forward to sharing the success of our initiatives in due course.

We would like to split the Monies raised between two charities that are close to our hearts; Cancer Research UK and JDRF, (Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation).

We have been supporters of Cancer Research ever since my mother was diagnosed in 2009, when she was given a terminal diagnosis with up to 6 months to live. Fortunately, after seeking a second opinion and some ground breaking treatment, she continues her fight today!

JDRF is a type 1 diabetes charity for children and a funder of world-class medical research to cure, prevent and treat type 1 diabetes. My daughter was unfortunately diagnosed with type 1 in 2018, and I for one didn't appreciate how it turns a child's life upside down. The injections and monitoring of sugar levels in the blood during everyday life that they have to do is relentless and I want to help speed up the day when type 1 diabetes can be easily controlled.

We are obviously well under way to progressing towards our 40,000.00 target and look towards you for any support that you can give us as we chase the final amount before we close 2021.
