Story

We did it! We walked for World Patient Safety Day! You can still support us!

A massive thank you to all of you who have supported us by donating to our cause. We have a few aching joints but what a fantastic experience with a great group of academics, and healthcare staff from the University of Stirling and NHS Forth Valley, and the weather was on our side!

World Patient Safety Day is on 17th September 2024. More information can be found here: World-patient-safety-day-improving-diagnosis-for-patient-safety

This year the campaign aims to highlight the critical importance of correct and timely diagnosis in ensuring patient safety and improving health outcomes with the slogan 'Get it right, make it safe!

NHS Forth Valley have now launched their Safety Collaborative, “Safer Together” which will seek to improve patient safety across the whole healthcare system in Forth Valley.

Patient safety is considered day to day core business and so we are raising funds for 'Forth Valley Giving; which is the official charity of NHS Forth Valley who support local patients, hospitals and staff.

We would appreciate your support to help us achieve our goal!
