Story

Have you ever wanted to challenge yourself and make a difference at the same time?

Nows your chance to complete a 10,000 foot tandem sky dive & make a difference to the lives of those living with Parkinson's.

A Tandem skydive is the easiest and most popular of all skydives. It requires only 30 minutes of training before you then jump strapped to your instructor! The BPA (British Parachute Association) qualified tandem instructor does all of the hard work for you, allowing you to enjoy the exhilarating feeling of flying through the clouds from over 10,000 feet at up to 120 mph! It is a truly unforgettable experience.

Registration £70

Minimum sponsorship: £395

What is included:

Being a part of our Skydive team means you will receive:

A welcome pack including information on the Skydive

A Parkinson’s Care and Support UK T-shirt to wear on the day

Fundraising materials to help you raise as much as you can

A dedicated fundraising team to help you every step of the way

The first challenge for ‘Parkies Angels’ will be a skydive. I would like us to do this as close to World Parkinson’s Day (the 11th April 2022), and have therefore set the date of Sunday the 10th April. However if you are unable to make this date and would still like to jump you can still do this on your own.

If you would like to join the 'Parkies Angels' team and help to make a difference by getting this centre built whilst also challenging yourself by taking part in a skydive please let me know.

The minimum donation for each person to raise in order to do the skydive is £395 + £70 registration fee.

Please do ask any friends and family members if they would like to join as well.

About the charity

Every hour two people are told they have Parkinson's. It can affect anyone and there is currently no cure. We work tirelessly to improve quality of life for people with Parkinson's and their carers, whilst funding non-pharmaceutical research to prevent, slow down, reverse and cure Parkinson's.
