We ride again!!, the lockdown due to Covid has taken its toll on many of us personally, but Charitable Organisations have been hit really hard over the past couple of years with normal fundraising events unable to take place, impacting them financially and therefore potentially restricting the amount of support and services they can offer.

Amongst many others have signed up to take on the “Pedal for Pounds (P4P) 10.5” with Made by Cooper. This is a 130 mile bike ride in aid of the Huddersfield Town Foundation, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, The Kirkwood Hospice and Platform 1 taking place on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th May 2022.

The event challenges us to cycle from Huddersfield to Harrogate and back, returning to the John Smiths Stadium in time for the last home game of the regular season against Bristol City.

The direct route is approximately 33 miles door to door and that is the return path on day 2, but day 1 will see us leaving the John Smiths Stadium in Huddersfield to take on a challenging ride via Burnsall, before heading through Kettlewell and Middleham and ending at the overnight accommodation in Harrogate which is some 97 miles (not accounting for the odd deviation from route!).
