The Christie Charity Dragon Boat Race, a 3.5 hour experience raising essential funds for The Christie Charity!

Each dragon boat holds 17 people Oplo people, with our Captain who will act as the drummer at the front of the boat to make sure all the paddlers keep time.

We will be pitched against a host of other teams, battling on the lake in Sale, Manchester and taking on other local businesses.

The Christie charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds. Gifts from the public make a huge difference to the care and treatment that The Christie is able to provide to our patients and their families.

They are one of the largest hospital charities in the UK with 82p in every pound raised going directly to the patients.
