Assalamu Alaikum, University of Nottingham Islamic Society is partnering with Human Appeal to raise funds for the Gaza Emergency Appeal this Charity Week.
Gaza is facing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, with families enduring unimaginable hardships. The destruction of homes, displacement of innocent lives, and the scarcity of life's essentials - food, clean water, and medical care - paint a grim picture.
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever removes a grief from a believer from amongst the sorrows of this life, Allah will remove a grief from him amongst the sorrows of the Day of Resurrection. Whoever brings ease to one in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this life and the Hereafter." (Sahih Muslim)
Human Appeal is on the ground providing aid, including:
1. Emergency Kits: These kits contain essentials like blankets, clothing, hygiene items, and cooking utensils, offering a lifeline to those who have lost everything.
2. Food Assistance: Our teams are distributing nutritious food packages to ensure that no one in Gaza goes to bed hungry. Your contribution can help us nourish those in desperate need.
3. Medical Aid: Hospitals and medical facilities in Gaza are overwhelmed. Human Appeal is stepping in with crucial medical supplies and support to save lives in this time of crisis.
