Story
This year, I’m taking on the huge challenge of running the Leeds Marathon to raise vital funds for Motor Neurone Disease Association and Yorkshire Cancer Research —two charities that do incredible work supporting patients and funding life-saving research.
Training has been tough, but every step is worth it to help those affected by these devastating illnesses.
In particular I am thinking of an inspirational friend who died too young to cancer last year, Neil Clark, and honouring my friend Richard Pollins’ mum, Vera. Richard was relentless in his efforts to raise awareness about MND after his mum was diagnosed. After he took on an amazing challenge, he made me want to do the same.
Your support would mean the world to me and make a real difference to so many lives.
Please donate if you can—every penny counts! Thank you so much.
