North Hertfordshire College is fundraising for the East and North Hertfordshire Hospitals' Charity!

We have nominated The Sunshine Appeal, part of East and North Hertfordshire Hospital's Charity as our Charity of the year.

The charity supports the construction of a new rooftop garden balcony at Lister Hospital, designed so patients can be moved in their beds out into the open air.

The Sunshine Appeal aims to create a beautiful space in which patients can feel fresh air, see the sky and have some time away from the machines and bright lights of the wards. The sad fact is, in some cases, it may be the last time they get to see the sky.

The North Hertfordshire College team, including Principal Kit Davies and Course Team Leader Rachel Mutch, will be abseiling 11 stories down the side of Lister Hospital to raise money for this incredible cause.
