Myself, Margaret (old school pal) her brother Pete are fundraising for Classrooms in the Clouds.

Me and Margaret have been long time friends for over 45 years and she has also been a massive supporter of the work that I have done in Nepal

I have been to the Solukhumdu/Everest region of Nepal more than 18 times now at my own expense. I am passionate about creating libraries in rural villages to enhance the education of the children and to give them a learning experience.

From leaving UK, can take up to 4 days to reach one of the village's. It's not an easy journey.

Many of the children walk up to 2hrs to reach school and that after they have done house chores before. Sometimes they are cold and hungry before they start the day. When they see the magic that a library gives, it makes it all worth while
