3332 Miles in 128 Days: Running in Memory of my brother Conor

On January 25th, I’ll begin an extraordinary challenge: running 3332 miles over 128 days—the equivalent of a marathon every day while balancing my 9-5 job. This distance symbolizes running from Newcastle, where I live, to New York, the place my brother Conor always dreamed of living.

Conor’s life was tragically cut far too short in 2018 when he died by suicide at just 21 years old. This challenge is my way of honoring Conor’s memory and raising awareness for suicide prevention and mental health support.

I’m raising funds for two incredible organizations: the RNLI and If U Care Share. The RNLI saves lives at sea, and I want to thank them for their efforts in looking for my brother. If U Care Share, based in the North East, offers mental health training, 24/7 support, and help to families affected by suicide. Both organizations carry out life-saving work, and their efforts are deeply connected to Conor’s story.

This challenge will end on June 2nd—Conor’s birthday. Every mile I run is for him, for those struggling silently, and for the families who know the pain of such a loss.
