Story

We are Nana’s Trekkers! A team of daughters and granddaughters raising awareness for the Alzheimer’s Society. We as a family came across the society in early 2020 when our dad and grandfather (nana) was diagnosed with early on set dementia.

Trekkers: Dipti Hirani, Karishma Varsani, Katrina Varsani, Rupal Patel, Sharda Hirani

The Alzheimer’s Society helped us to research and understand dementia so we could support our Nana through this journey. In aid of this amazing charity we are joining the 13 Mile London Trek. We would love for you all to help raise awareness and give anything you can to help the Alzheimer’s Society continue their amazing work, so they can help families just like ours.

A little goes a long way, so please feel free to donate as much as you can. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated by us all. We thank you for reading our story and for your support! xx

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
