Story
Nacro Greater Manchester Outdoor Learning uses the Outdoors to help and support children, young people and the wider community from all walks of life. Through the on-going work by staff, volunteers and through fundraising, we are able to run adventurous and challenging outdoor learning programmes that equip people with valuable skills for education, work and life. We help people to become more confident, more effective and capable within society, school, college and in the work place.
Our minibus appeal
We are fundraising for a new accessible minibus to support our work and a team of Nacro staff, volunteers and local supporters are taking on the epic National 3 Peaks Challenge in July to raise the funds. A minibus is a valuable and much needed resource that enables us to work across the community of Greater Manchester and beyond. It allows us provide opportunities for young people to develop in an outdoor setting locally and across the UK and ensures that our activities are accessible for disabled participants too.
Nacro Greater Manchester Outdoor Learning is a charity that has worked with children, young people and the wider community for the past 15 years across Greater Manchester and is part of The Nacro social Justice charity which has been established for over 50 years.
