We are a group of young musicians in Northern Ireland aiming to raise money for Tearfund. Tearfund helps where the need is greatest, empowering people to lift themselves out of poverty.

Tearfund undertakes long term sustainable development work as well as first response emergency work. The Covid Appeal and the Yemen Appeal are particularly close to our heart.

1. The Covid Appeal :Coronavirus and lockdown are pushing people further into poverty. People can no longer leave their houses for work to provide their family with basic necessities and people living in poverty are very vulnerable to the virus. Tearfund is delivering emergency aid to the most vulnerable affected people and communities. 502 water stations have been installed, and 6,377 food parcels have been distributed.

2. The Yemen Appeal : Yemen is currently facing the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. 24million people are in need of urgent assistance and 17.8million people do not have sufficient access to food. The nation is on the brink of famine. Tearfund is working across Yemen, providing conflict-affected families with safe, clean water, sanitation and hygiene kits, and emergency food packages to avert severe malnutrition.
