Story
Fulham Football Club Foundation run a number of different programmes for Children and Adults with disabilities in our local community. From Pan DisAbility Football to disability specific sessions; for those with Down's Syndrome, Autism and Visual Impairments, our aim is to provide an environment best suited to the needs of the individual participants. All our DisAbility Programmes focus on the Ability of the participant and help them to achieve their potential. Funds raised from this walk will go a long way to supporting these programmes and the all the participants involved.
The day will start and finish at Craven Cottage, with participants their families and friends walking a 4 mile loop along the Thames and arriving back at Craven Cottage.
My name is Musa, I’m 9 years old and I have Right-sided Hemiplegia. This means I had a stroke when I was in the womb which caused injury to a part of my brain which controls movement of my Right Arm and leg.
I love Football and Fulham Football Club foundation has allowed me to do so, by its dedication to providing me the opportunity to play football as they have allowed my to play football weekly and also take part in tournaments with other children with disabilities.
I will be walking with my Grandad to raise funds, so we can continue to play.
