Homelessness is a social issue that effects thousands of people in Ireland every year. But homelessness knows no borders and it also effects millions of others around the globe. Our Transition Year group is made up of 20 students from Ireland, Spain, Germany, Poland and Zimbabwe; all of whom want to play a part by raising awareness and funds to help combat homelessness. Last year a group of our teachers from Mullingar Community College took part and raised over 12,000 euro for Shine A Light 2020. This year it's our classes turn to carry the torch and raise as much as we can for this important cause by spending just one night outside! Please support us for this years Shine A Light event.
