We support people affected by bipolar to manage their condition in everyday life

Story

After fighting with mental health and being diagnosed with bipolar just over 2 years ago, our beautiful Megan lost the battle and took her own life on December 12th 2022.

As a family our lives can never be the same again, but in 2023 we’ll be doing everything we can to raise awareness and funds for Bipolar UK and also trying to create a new normal without her physically being with us. Megan will however, forever be in our hearts and minds ❤️❤️❤️

As you can see from the gallery on the Just Giving page, Megs was very active, therefore on April 22nd, close to her birthday, we're having a day to celebrate Megs while raising awareness and funds for Bipolar. A group of family and friends will hike the Saddleworth 3 peaks, a route of 18 miles and over 3,500 feet of climbing.

Everyone is welcome, joining in at various stages along the way or a shorter route will also be available. It's up to you and all to be done at your own pace.

If you want to be involved in Saddleworth, please let me, or a family member know.

We also encourage anyone to be involved in their own area on April 22nd or 23rd. Do your own muddy miles for Megs. Nature and the outdoors are beneficial to our mental health so head to countryside, the local park, wherever you can, to walk or run as short or as long a distance as you feel comfortable with.
