Join Us in the Fight Against MS: Support the Multiple Sclerosis Society UK

We are Agniete and Rozanna and have signed up to run the Edinburgh Half Marathon in May 2025. We have set ourselves this difficult challenge in order to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Society UK, a very important charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS). MS is a lifelong condition that affects the brain and spinal cord, leading to a wide range of symptoms that can significantly impact daily life.

We work as part of a team of MS researchers specialising in MRI imaging in early MS. Our work focuses on understanding the earliest changes in the brain caused by MS, with the goal of improving prediction of disease progression and treatment. To show our commitment to this cause, we are challenging ourselves to run a half marathon for the first time ever!
