Story
We are embarking on this wonderful challenge for the second time, as it is for such a worthy cause. We lost our wonderful Kev 3 years ago. Suicide & Co has already helped myself and my family through such a traumatic experience, without which I certainly wouldn’t be functioning as well as I am today. We hope these funds can continue to support those who are bereaved by a suicide loss.
We will have a team of walkers, some are joining us for the first time. We have Claire, Kate, Sam, Ann -Marie, Julie, Heather, Sarah, Wendy, plus a few others joining and supporting us along the way! We will walk from the punch bowl in Hindhead thought Thursday common, Hankley Common, around Frensham common and back!
There’s a team of Paddle boarders Mike,Bob, Pete and Taffy who will do the 34km along the river Arun from Pulborough to Littlehampton
The estimated number of people directly bereaved by suicide each year is around 34,000.
We are taking on the 34k Challenge for Suicide&Co, with a fundraising target of £1000, so that together we can raise £34,000 to help Suicide&Co to continue to achieve their mission of supporting individuals bereaved by suicide, and provide people with counselling sessions through Suicide&Co's Counselling Service.
