The 100 Squats a Day in November challenge is a great way in which you can improve your fitness, complete an amazing challenge and also raise vital funds and awareness for The UK Sepsis Trust.

Story

Hey, it's Dani and Derryn here, Dental Nurses at Mouth Dental Nine Elms. Dental infections are unfortunately something we see a lot of, and as with any infection, the risk of sepsis is very real.

We want to take part in the 100 Squats a Day In November Challenge, to help raise awareness and spark the question 'What is Sepsis?' This could help to prevent thousands of deaths & unnecessary suffering through knowledge & awareness of the symptoms.

The UK Sepsis Trust funds vital support work, Public Awareness, Educating Health Professionals & helping people adjust to life after sepsis through accessing their Support Group network. They also lobby the government to support the cause and make vital changes in areas such as the NHS.

We would love for you to support us on this 100 squats-a-day challenge in November. Whether it's 1 person or 100, this knowledge could save someone's life!

Sepsis accounts for 48,000 deaths annually in the UK, that’s more than breast, bowel and prostate cancer put together. Sepsis is what happens when our immune system overreacts to an infection. Symptoms initially present as flu like but can rapidly deteriorate into a life threatening condition.
