Liam Riley and Steve Ferris are life-long friends whose families have needed the care and facilities provided by Bristol Children's Hospital. This is their way of saying thank you and ensuring that Bristol Children's Hospital continues it's incredible work with the best possible facilities for babies and children in the region.

'Morocco on a Mission' is a self organised, self funded, 72-hour bikepacking challenge through the rugged High Atlas Mountains, including an attempt to summit Mount Toubkal – at 4167m the highest peak in North Africa and the Arab world, hauling all our bikes and equipment up into the summit’s rare air.

From grueling climbs to rocky descents and everything in between, we will be riding and pushing along roads and dirt tracks, bivouacking under the stars by night and riding by day. This journey will be our way of saying thank you and helping the Grand Appeal continue its life-changing work.

The Grand Appeal is the official charity of Bristol Children's Hospital, dedicated to helping sick children and supporting their families across the South West and South Wales. Since 1995, the charity has raised over £50 million to fund life-saving medical equipment, family accommodation, and innovative therapies.

Their support includes providing three family accommodation houses, investing in pioneering medical research, and funding state-of-the-art equipment. They also offer music, play, and art therapy programs to help young patients cope with treatment and work to create a comforting hospital environment through art enhancements.

The Grand Appeal’s initiatives, such as the 'Gromit Unleashed' sculpture trails in partnership with Aardman Animations, have been instrumental in raising funds and engaging the community.
