Story

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a fatal disease that affects the nerves in the brain and spinal cord. On average it kills a third of people within 12 months and more than half of people within two years. Presently, there is no cure.

Amanda lost her father, Ian, to MND on 2nd April 2024 and is undertaking 10 challenges to raise £10k for the MND Association. Her mission is to get as many people involved as possible to raise awareness of this condition. £10,000 is enough to pay for two people living with MND to take part in a clinical trial for a year - to help us find a cure.

This page is the Team Page for Team Amanda - a group of amazing people who have come together to support Amanda's mission; fundraising together in various ways for a world without MND.
