Story

Get ready for an exciting week as the annual Mini Athletics charity week runs from Monday 9th to Sunday 15th October. This year, Gogo, our amazing Gazelle mascot is getting married to Coco in all of the Mini Athletics sessions across the UK and Ireland!

In their normal Mini Athletics sessions, Mini Athletes have a special role as guests at the wedding! They will participate in a wedding-themed Mini Athletics session, where they will showcase their running, jumping, and throwing skills, spreading wedding joy and celebration across the UK. Get ready for a week full of fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories!

Our Mini Athletes are being sponsored to attend the wedding for the incredible charity - Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group. They are a leading children's cancer charity and the UK and Ireland's professional association for those involved in the treatment and care of children with cancer.

Each week in the UK and Ireland, more than 30 children are diagnosed with cancer. CCLG bring together professionals to ensure all children receive the best possible treatment and care. They support young patients and their families with their award winning, expert information. They fund and support research into childhood cancers.
