Story
Virtual Macmillan Coffee Morning.
As you know we have been supporting Mum with the Macmillan Coffee Mornings for a number of years. Unfortunately covid and social distancing rules means that we are not able to hold a face to face Coffee morning this year.
We are still as passionate about supporting Macmillan and would like to encourage people to still be able to make a donation if they wish to via this just giving page. There be no cakes and your have to make your own coffee this year but we will be having our own ‘coffee break’ at 11 with you all in mind.
please join us by making a donation and enjoying your own cuppa at 11. We hope that next there will be some ’normaility‘ and we can once again enjoy each others company with a coffee and cake.
Since 2010, M&S and Macmillan have been working together to help make a huge difference for people living with cancer in local communities across the UK.
The enthusiasm, support and hard work of M&S employees and customers has raised an incredible £19.4 million for Macmillan to date. In 2019 alone, the fantastic £2.1 million raised by M&S was enough to fund around 37 Macmillan professionals for one year, from nurses and occupational therapists to psychologists and doctors to provide vital support for people living with cancer.
With Coronavirus having had a huge impact on fundraising events, your support has never been more important, as we safeguard against cancer becoming the forgotten C. With social distancing measures in place, this year, were challenging M&S colleagues to get creative with their fundraising and activities, using virtual challenges and digital channels to make the most of their efforts this year!
Thank you so much for your invaluable support.
