Story
It's been a challenging 13 months for many people, with the various lockdowns taking it's toll on people's mental and physical health.
With the restrictions easing and weather conditions improving, then May presents a great opportunity to clock up some miles in aid of a great cause and bounce into June with an increased sense of self esteem, purpose and positivity!
We invite industry peers, family, friends, and ultimately anyone to join us and complete one of the following challenges between 01/05 and 31/05:
- Walking - 100km
- Running - 100km
- Cycling - 250km
*We ask anyone joining the group to try and individually raise £100 for the mental health charity Mind, and therefore contribute to a team target of £10,000*
Key facts on the positive impact exercise has on mental health:

People who exercise regularly have 1.5 fewer “bad days” a month on average than those who don’t exercise (The Lancet Psychiatry Journal)
The odds of getting depression for people managing 150 minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise a week is 22% lower than those who don’t (NHS)
