Story

This Just Giving page has been set up in loving memory of Mia Alison Hankins.

On November 11th 2020 beautiful Mia, aged 6, was diagnosed suddenly with a brain tumour. She received an operation on the 20th November to remove it but despite the best efforts of the amazing staff at Southampton Hospital Mia stayed sleeping and passed away on the 21st November 2020.

The brave and beautiful girl we all love so dearly was able to prolong the lives of 3 others in need through organ donation, making us even more proud of the caring and amazing young lady she is.

She was and always will be a cherished daughter, granddaughter, great granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. 💜

The charity we have selected is very close to our hearts, Brain Tumour Research work tirelessly to increase survival rates, improve the quality of life for those diagnosed, and most importantly hope to find a cure.

Mia's family and friends will be organising events and challenges to raise money for this worthy causes but most importantly to remember the life of beautiful Mia, who was taken too soon but will be forever in our hearts.

Please click on the names below which will take you to each individual event page.

All of your support is greatly appreciated and if anyone would like to arrange an event in honour of Mia please get in touch.
