We fund vital research into breast cancer to increase survival after diagnosis

Story

Karen and I have been training together for the last 4 years. In 2019 we decided to run our first marathon in the New Forest. 8 weeks before the big day, Karen discovered she had secondary breast cancer following two rounds of breast cancer 5 and 10 years earlier.

Undetermined, we continued our training and completed our first marathon in 4 ½ hours, raising just over £3,000 for Against Breast Cancer.

We set ourselves a new target to run three marathons in a year with Karen continuing her new treatment.
