A virtual challenge to 'outrun' the mileage covered by an ambulance on a 12 hour shift.

Story

The kids and I, along with Ruby the dog, will walk and scoot the distance an average ambulance covers in ine shift - that's 86 miles in one month.

Our ambulance staff and volunteers really go the extra mile to keep us all safe during challenging times. Please support me to go the extra mile for them by taking on the 'Outrun an Ambulance' challenge.

The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) provides emergency and urgent care across 10,000 square miles, serving over 5.5 million residents and over 20 million visitors each year. SWASFT crews deal with around 2,500 incidents a day across the South West.

Your donations will be used to provide enhanced facilities and well-being support for crew and personnel operating from Ambulance Stations in the North and East of Devon.
