Event: St Wilfrid's Hospice - Moonlight Walk Week 2022, on 10 September 2022
Your Hospice Moonlight Walk Week returns! This year your Moonlight Walk Week will be 3rd -10th September 2022 with two special ways to take part on a sponsored 5 or 10-mile walk to remember.

Story

Mum was one of the kindest people we ever knew. If anybody needed help or caring for, she was there. After years of working for the NHS and caring for others in February of this year she was the one who needed the care.

This was the first time we had contact with St Wilfrids and I can honestly say we would not have been able to cope without the fantastic help and support we received from this amazing set of people. In May Mum went into the hospice and from the moment she entered she was treated with such kindness, dignity and amazing care. We will always be so grateful that they gave us the time we had with mum there, which allowed us to become her children again and not her carers.

About the charity
