Story
Our amazing, beautiful first daughter Margot was born on Friday 2 July at Homerton hospital after a speedy birth, an amused Uber driver, a helpful drunk man outside the hospital fetching us a wheelchair and an hour later she was here.
For reasons we don’t yet understand she was born struggling and eventually transferred to Great Ormond Street where we cuddled her as she left the world just 24 hours later. She only lived for a day but she made us so proud and happy. Not much makes sense at the moment but one thing we do know is the team at GOSH helped us make memories with her at a time when we were totally lost and that it is an amazing place we are so lucky to have. People have been asking how they can support us at this time and we wanted to set up this page to support other poorly children so if you had wanted to send us something please donate the cost of it here in Margot’s memory.
Our small but mighty girl we wish had been able to stay with us longer than the world wanted to let her and who we will love forever.
