Raising money for Open Doors, Bible Society and Mesothelioma UK

Story

Following a very rapid illness, Marcus Rose sadly passed away on Tuesday, 14th June 2022 from Mesothelioma.

He was born in Llwynypia on 13th September, 1939, to Stan and Pauline. Marcus was their second son, following his older brother, Peter. Marcus and Peter were brought up in Llanelli. Marcus had very happy memories of his childhood, which was free and full of adventures!

As you all know, Marcus Rose was an amazing man, with so much character. He was very much loved by all, but especially by his wife, Joan, their five children, Adele, Nicola, Debbie, Jonathan and Sarah and his grandchildren, Abi, Scott, Rhys, Lowri, Kezia, Arwen, Andy and James. He is already missed immeasurably by them all.

Marcus was known for being incredibly hard working, with many capabilities and also for his fun-loving ways. However, the biggest legacy he leaves behind are the many years of telling anyone and everyone about Jesus. It has helped his family and friends to know, that death isn’t the end for Marcus, and that he no longer needs faith as he has now seen Jesus for himself.

Please don’t feel under any pressure to donate, however this Just Giving page has been set up for those who would like to give in lieu of flowers.

There are links to three charities which are all under the name of Debbie Williams. When you click on the link, it will take you through to the specific charities: Mesothelioma UK, Bible Society and Open Doors. This gives you the option to donate to the charity/charities of your choice.

Thank you so much for reading and also for helping us to remember Marcus.
