Story

As many of you know, in Oct 2020 Mark was taken from us far too early, following a devastating brain aneurysm. His final ten days were spent in Southmead ICU where he was given absolutely outstanding care by all the staff. Many have been so very generous in supporting our previous appeal to raise funds for Southmead ICU, and we are truly grateful for your generosity, thank you.

In order to further support the charity and in memory of Mark, we (Thandi and Sharon), are running a half marathon at Dorney Lake on 22nd May. This is particularly poignant as it's where Mark completed his first triathlon.

I think it's safe to say that neither of us are natural runners(!), however we have put determination and tenacity over style and capability and are nearing completion of our training schedule ready for the big day.

If you're able to help by contributing to this brilliant organisation, it would surely help these Marathon Matrons get to the finish line!

With huge thanks and love,

Thandi and Sharon x
