Story

Hi!

We are Jemima and Sara and we're running the Paris Marathon 2023 to raise money for Liverpool Marrow, the student branch of the Anthony Nolan charity.

Anthony Nolan work to save the lives of people with blood cancers and other blood related disorders by researching new treatments and finding lifesaving matches for those in need of bone marrow/stem cell transplants.

As University of Liverpool students, we support the work of Anthony Nolan by:

- Signing up potential donors to the stem cell/bone marrow donor register

- Raising money for the charity

- Spreading awareness of blood cancers and the bone marrow/stem cell donor register

It is our first ever marathon and our training is already well underway. We would really appreciate any pennies you can spare to get us across the finish line!

If you want to follow our training journey, you can follow us on our Instagram page (@marathon4marrow)
