Story

With Kate, my wife, recently being diagnosed with Bipolar disorder, we have decided to take part in Mind's Stadium Stair Climb at Stamford Bridge.

We'll be climbing as many steps as we can in 90 minutes to raise money for mental health & lack of specialist support it is clear to us both just how significantly under-diagnosed and misunderstood the condition is; and just how many mental health illnesses are out there.

We also want to show our support for all the others impacted by mental health, the friends and family who stick by those affected through thick and thin, often with little of their own guidance, help or support.

Diagnosis for bipolar is typically delayed by 9.5 years. That’s just too long.

We just want to do a little to help raise some awareness. If we only help one person affected by Bipolar get a proper diagnosis or enable their friends/family/partner to help get them some support, that is enough for us! ❤️

Please help support us so that together we can show everyone dealing with or supporting someone with a mental health problem they’re not alone.

Thank you.
