Story

Hello, I'm jake, a 15-year-old turning 16 in august this year, I was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder at around 5 to 7. I am a category 2, this has caused myself to be diagnosed with other issues such as scoliosis and tip toeing the latter I had to get surgery for in April 2024 and still going through recovery. While my spine is in a state of limbo. Over the years I have been facing discrimination for My autism, I also found some dark facts relating to autism such as it being viewed as something similar to cancer that needs to be cured and eradicated, people researching in the field of autism not even understanding it, and multiple countries on the planet having laws that allow people to discriminate if they see fit or refusing to allow them to migrate if they are seen as a threat to the economy and some just straight up not allowing people with autism to migrate at all, there also seems to be a lack of understanding among the general public, while I might not be able to make any major change I want to at least help somewhat so I am doing a charity and collaboration with my school in celebration for autism awareness month.
