We recently lost our amazing Mum and wife at the end of a long journey with cancer.

We have been lucky to have more than 4 years with Mum since her diagnosis, partly due to her strength and resilience, and partly due to new cancer treatments she was given. In those 4 years we have been able to celebrate some massive milestones together as a family. She has been able to design her third house; watch both her children settle down with partners and get their first homes; and travel the world (mostly watching cricket).

We were also lucky enough to be with Mum towards the end, where she was brilliantly cared for, comfortable and surrounded by family.

Neither of these would have happened without the brilliant work that Cancer Research UK and St Wilfrid's Hospice do.

And that's why we have built this page, to fundraise for the two charities that supported her throughout. So, rather than donate flowers, if you would like to do anything in memory of this incredible woman, we would love you to donate to either Cancer Research UK or St Wilfrid's Hospice.
